She is a co-founder of the Reading Women Podcast, a book podcast that amplified the work of women writers. It aired from 2016-2022, garnered 200K+ regular listeners, was a founding member of the LitHub Radio network, and was featured in the Washington Post, Oprah Magazine, BuzzFeed, and more.
During that time, she interviewed more than forty award-winning authors, including Min Jin Lee, Miriam Toews, Tressie McMillan Cottom, and Rebecca Traister.

Currently, she is an MFA candidate at Bennington College and like most twenty-first century writers, she has a Substack, Dream Ballet, a bricolage of arts and culture observations. If that wasn’t enough, she’s also working on a screenplay loosely based on a Shakespeare play by way of her Appalachian childhood
